Mangrove Snakes- 2022

Introducing Boiga dendrophila, commonly known as Mangrove Snakes.

These snakes were hatched in 2022.

We currently have pairs available, consisting of one male and one female, allowing for potential breeding opportunities in the future. Additionally, individual male snakes are also being offered.

Here are a few fun facts and tips about Mangrove snakes.

Mangrove snakes are arboreal creatures, meaning they spend a significant amount of time climbing. We just creating an enclosure that has a climbing feature. 

These snakes are known for their elongated bodies and can grow to impressive lengths. Adults can reach an average length of 6 to 8 feet (1.8 to 2.4 meters). Although, they can grow to be a large snake we recommend a small enclosure to start your baby out in no larger than a 20 gallon.  

Mangrove snakes are rear-fanged venomous so we encourage handling these snakes with a hook.
