Does BHB Reptiles offer pickup?
Yes, we offer pickup at our front office Monday-Friday during business hours and next door at The Reptarium on the weekends. You would contact us before at 586-884-6646 to schedule your pickup time.
When you arrive for your pickup time, please bring a government-issued ID. We will either refund or waive the shipping fee for pickups. You will still be required to pay for the packaging/handling fee.
Can I have my BHB Reptiles order "Held For Pickup" at a FedEx Location?
Yes, once your order is placed online, we will contact you to schedule shipping with the phone number listed on your order.
We will discuss shipping simultaneously if you place your order over the phone.
If you prefer to have your order held for pickup at a FedEx location, we are happy to search for the nearest FedEx Ship Center to your location.
Because we are shipping live animals, we must make sure that the package is held at a FedEx Ship Center and not just any FedEx location.
I have just placed my order online, when should I expect a call from BHB Reptiles to schedule shipping?
Our business hours are Monday-Friday from 8 AM-4 PM EST. We call all orders in the order that we receive them.
You will usually receive a call within a few hours, but if you place an order in the evening or on the weekends, you should hear from us within 24-72 hours.
You are also welcome to call us at 586-884-6646 right after placing your order if you would like to try and reach us faster.
